Custom Fiber Processing Pricing for large batches

In recognition of those producers who have large amounts of fiber to process, we now offer the special batch processing below. This pricing is premised on strict batch sizes and high fiber quality (must be Grade A). Consider certified sorting for reduced fiber weight shrinkage. Weight shrinkage can come from grease loss during scouring, removal of tog (or guard hair) during dehairing, or removal of dust and sand during tumbling.

All fleeces must be heavily skirted, removing all belly wool, dung tags, vegetation, etc. Fleeces arriving without proper skirting will be sent back at the owner's expense. Please refer to this Fiber Harvest Code of Practice document. More than one color can be accommodated within a single batch. Contact us for details.

If you are not a high volume fiber producer, we have regular order pricing available.

If you are just a little bit short of a full batch, consider these blending suggestions.

We've designed an interactive worksheet to allow for improved communication between us and you in receiving fleeces. This worksheet allows you to approximate your cost for processing. To properly use this worksheet scripting must be enabled on your browser. Using this worksheet will allow you to know how much payment to send along with your shipment (all processing is paid for up front). Before you submit your online order, use the "Print this Form" button and a printable page will pop up that should be printed and placed in the bag with the fleece (and you can print or copy an extra one for your records if you would like). The sheet you place in the bag with the fleece will then be matched with your email that we will receive when you place your order online. Next, click the "Place Order" button and automatically an email of your desired processing for that fleece (or set of fleeces) will be sent to alert us of your incoming shipment. This online placing of your order will speed up our turn around time in processing your order. When it arrives here we will send you an estimate and wait for your payment, please include contact information (phone, email, address, etc). Thank you for allowing us to serve you in this way.
